New Member and pool owner for 20 years

Hello Everyone
I noticed this site and decided to give it a try. I have owned pools for over 20 years and interested in learning as well as sharing experiences. Looking forward to chatting with everyone on the site. I have a 35,000 gallon inground pool with a Hayward 400,000 btu milivolt heater, Hayward DE Pro-Grid 7200, Del UVC-50 Sterilizer, Pool Frog XL mineral chlorine dispenser, all powered by an EcoPump EP-6. Honestly, until I installed the UV sterilizer algae always seemed to creep up on me at least once a season. After installing the UV sterilizer I have no water clarity issues, cut my chlorine usage by 70%, and the water chemistry is perfect. Water smells fresh also. My heater is 12 years old, but I rebuild it every year and it looks brand new. It's my personal hobby! Anyway, looking to chatting on the site. See some pics of the pool. I welcome comments.

Hey Texas! You look like a happy pool owner! I'm usually a late closer. The heater starts to earn it's rent starting September and I close by mid October. You probably keep yours open almost all year in Texas! I envy you 10 month guys! Thanks for the message!
