I had a new liner installed prior to closing. The company that installed the liner was kind enough to close my pool. Although convenient, that was a mistake that I would find come May. Opened my pool on Sunday to a beautiful shade of green, pretty sure they didn't add any chemicals before closing. Also dumped in my salt. Day 1 - not so bad, seemed to be progressing, time for the robot cleaner to take a swim- had to stop and clean it out several times, My pump GPM kept dropping on day 1 and on day 2...that's strange. I wonder if the guys that closed my pool cleaned my filter grids?? Basically all they did was blow out the lines and put the cover on. Grids are now clean, more DE, this would be my 3rd backwash. Running pump overnight to keep filtering out everything. Woke this morning to "Wow I can see the drain in the deep end." Good news. Today has been brushing, robot, a little bit more chlorine - last I checked it was hovering around 14. I figure I have one more backwash before I can get back on a backwash schedule and routine maintenance. Or at least only chasing water chemistry. EC143730-F198-4A49-B410-4612236ABE9E.jpeg

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate closing experience. But you've made good progress from what I can tell. Just keep at it and keep that FC at SLAM level!
