As I mentioned, put in the stuff yesterday. Water was pretty clear at the time.
It did become a bit cloudy, nothing terrible.
Skimmer has been collecting a fine layer of surface crud.
It’s back to mostly clear today, probably the clearest it’s been in a few days. Smells and taste a touch like soap or candles.
I’ve used the silt net over the swim current pump and I still get lots of fine Crud out of the water. I always get Crud out, but I think a bit more now than before, so that’s positive.
I still see algae and bio crud on the walls in inaccessible places. Fingers crossed that eventually comes off! This is my real target.
Example - vinyl pool wall behind acrylic channel.
And for those not familiar, an original endless pool is a basic rectangular vinyl pool with a bunch of acrylic channels and a motor that sits inside of it.
It’s inside these channels I feel like I have a coat of crud.
So, at this point I think it might be helping, but too early to declare success.
Oh yea, added 1 cup chlorine to bring it back up to 2.5. The pH still at 7.5
