I got an intelliPH today and, as others have noted, I find some details lacking in the instructions.
One aspect I'm looking to confirm is the hose connections to the pump. My 521377 kit came with two grey plastic ferrules (not sure that is the right word). My guess is that these would slide over the tubing and sit between the tubing nut and the threaded connection on the pump. In this way it looks like it acts as a type of low pressure compression fitting. I've attached a few pictures. Can anyone confirm that this looks like the correct way to install the suction and discharge tubes to the pump?

Another observation. In the unit I received, there Is no pump head tube encircling the rollers. This looks much fifferent than the image in the instruction manual. Is this a new design? Photo attached.

You are correct on the orientation of the ferrule.

The pump tube is there, but it looks like you are missing the cover over the pump tube, unless you have removed it. The pump will not pump without the cover in place.

Thanks for confirming the ferrule question. I took the blue cover off to take the photo.

I now see my mistake thinking there was another tube wrapped around the rollers. It was an optical illusion in the black & white installation manual that came in the kit.

Hang on now... I think I may have made a mistake on the ferrule section. I think the straight part fits down into the male thread of the fitting and the tapered part goes into the nut. Going out to confirm mine now.

Nope, the first way is correct... The straight section sits inside the nut, the taper goes towards the fitting.
