New in ground Shotcrete Pool Build in South Florida.

Thanks CCisotope. I was expecting the color variations just not the quality of the stone itself to be so poor. My new coping was delivered and i will be ordering the pavers from the same dealer. Great customer service. PB also deliver a small portion of the glass tile

This is the new coping. Much more uniform in color and 100% better quality stone. (in my opinion anyways). Darker color shade due to water falling on the stone from the shrink wrap.

This is the quality of stone i was expecting from the beginning. Not 100% smooth but not looking like swiss cheese either

Irdescent Glass tiles

I already advised the PB that the coping its in. Hopefully work will start here in the next few days at the latest.

The new coping looks much better. I'm glad you were able to get what you want. Hopefully, they can start right away!

This site is awesome. It's helpful to have others reassure you that your concerns are valid...

Very quick update. tile crew was out the last 2 days. The coping its almost complete and they are prepping for tile. One of the guys spent most of the day yesterday plastering the outside walls of the spa to make sure that they are leveled and smooth, they still need to level and prep the top and inside. Forecast its calling for rain this week so we'll see how much gets done. Anyhow we are very exited about progress.

That's awesome. Another hurdle passed. We are also going to go with the alarms and locks on the doors and windows. PB said we could easily do it as we have very few doors and windows overlooking the pool.

I checked my pressure gauge on the plumbing. It still reads in the same range - higher during the day and lower at night. Today it is on the lower end. I'm not sure if that's because it's a bit cooler now with all the rain we've had. How is yours looking?

Thanks. Inspector said they will check the alarms again at final inspection. We are loosing a bit of pressure (about .3-.5 daily) PB pressurized the system up to 50 psi and nothing obvious showed up. He thinks it might be coming from one of the main drain plugs. We'll keep investigating trying to narrow it down.

I love the glass tile! I can't wait to see it completed!

Thanks Casey. We are so ready. I feel your pain Jro, but that's the price we must pay to live in paradise. Lol. Well, I guess we caught a break today and installers showed up about 1:30 and worked till about 5. They said they will be back tomorrow morning and hopefully work all day (weather permitting). After plastering the spa for 2 days to make sure it was perfectly squared and leved, they installed some tile today. We know it's not much but we are super exited.

Only 2 sides of the spa are done.
