Same company did my friends install. Very nice pool kit.
Modern comfort is nearby to me. I'm in Mt Sinai.
I believe his liner, plumbing and backfill were done in one day.

Well, plumbers showed at 7 pm, and worked for an hour and a half. They were working in the dark, so who knows if it's done correct? They didn't finish, told me they don't know when they will be back. They also mentioned when plumbing gets completely done, next step is liner, then after they fill pool, backfill is done. This doesn't make sense to me. Also being left in the dark about when they may or may not be coming is getting on my nerves. It's unprofessional. Not liking the progress so far.

Bummer. Well another no show today. Pb spent 4to5 hrs total here this week. Im really regretting my decision to pick this pool builder.

Not to put aside your frustrations but by my count you are ~5 weeks in? Try being 7 months in and still screaming at builder when he can't give a date when folks will even show up.....that is when you wish you would have gone with a different builder.

Well, my pool builder actually showed up today. The owner himself came out, and did most of the backfill. I was pleasantly suprised. Feeling much better, and he is coming back on tuesday to finish backfill, and install liner.

Sounds like those pool builders that use your deposit to finish someone else's pool and need to sell another pool to finish yours.

It's so frustrating when they don't show up! Hang in there and don't forget to "check in" with your PB regularly!

Yes I am, and I'm very pleased we were able to work around that old rhododendron by the back corner of the pool. Unfortunately, another no show today to finish the liner today. It's half full, waiting for the returns and skimmers to be cut out, then fill it the rest of the way. And the electrician supplied by them hasn't started, so I will have stagnant water until he runs the el.
So pool is filled, unfortunately electrician is not coming till tuesday. BUT...... I did dive in for a quick swim. Water temp is 57.....WOW thats COLD!
