New IG OOL. Almost done! Concrete questions.

Last big step of my new ool!

I am wrapping this insulation as per concrete contractor instructions.
6” of foam 1.5” thickness. Im duct taping it together around the perimeter. Is this correct?

Concrete will be poured 4-5”?! Brush finish.
do we pour right up to the foam?

Putting in forms “tomorrow”....

Well, Im half wrapped and waiting for contractors....

Is there a product to go between concrete and coping? Flex joint or grout, or something else?

Yes, there are foam "ropes" and silicone caulks. Whatever you use, make sure it's flexible.

I’ll look into the foam rope for the edge.

I am thinking about doing a second layer of foam. This will make an overlap at the joints and give extra protection? Does concrete pour right up to the foam or do I need a different form around the pool edge?
