New house, new in-ground pool, new problems!

Bear with me folks, my thoughts are going to be all over the place. Firstly thank you as always for taking the time to read this post!
I purchased a new home and this it the pool equipment it came with. I was told the pump was acting up when the pool was opened a few weeks ago. Suggestion was to buy a new pump and switch to a sand filter. I picked up a Hayward 24' sand filter with a 1.5hp super pump. Pool guy ghosted me and I had to find a new pool guy to install. Second pool guy ghosted me before he ever came to the house so now I'm done with pool guys and am going to attempt to learn and install myself! Pool is approximately 20-24k gallons, cant see the bottom but I will be using a measuring stick to try and get a better idea of the depth and use one of the calculators in the site to get a better idea of volume.
I have a Raypak 119,000BTU electric heater from my previous AGP that I will be installing if I determine its adequate for the size of this pool.
I guess my first question is, besides for the pump and filter, which I have new ones, how does this setup look?
I have read and watched several videos on how to cut and fit pipe for the various equipment, is there anything you would add to the setup while switching equipment?
From what i can see, i have two returns from the deep end, one at the bottom of the pool and one skimmer? and one at the shallow end? they go to my pump-filter-nature in-ground sanitizer vessel??? (do I need this thing)-to the heater-back to the pool?
In picture 1 and 2 I see plumbing from the ground to the Polaris booster pump to the plumbing right after the SWG, what's its function and where is it getting its water supply from?
Thank you again.

Can't tell if there are three pipes here, but with the valve configuration, looks like two skimmers and a main drain. Skimmers on the right, main on the left, that is typical. In this picture all three valve are turned OFF. The gates in the valves are opposite the handles.

This is a mineral system which should be removed.

There is a port in the pool for a pressure cleaner, likely. The booster pump gets water from the main pool water circuit after the SWCG and before the return valves, and pushes the water out a port in the pool. A pressure side cleaner is hooked up to the port. Booster pump runs it. To run the booster the main pump should be running.

The pressure side has a bypass valve right next to the heater, and a check valve on the output. As positioned, the bypass valve is off, allowing water into the heater. If you turn it 180 degrees, it would be in bypass mode. There are two valves on the returns. Not sure where the returns go.

^^^This is very confusing.

You have three suction side inputs. Not clear what they are, Skimmers/drains.
You have three returns of some sort. Not clear what they are.
You have one pressure output for a pressure cleaner.

Can you clarify what the 3 suction inputs are and what the 3 outputs are?

Thank you for taking the time to write your response. It really helps!!
My plan is to try and sketch a layout, replacing the current heater with a Raypak R6450ti-E 119K BTU Electric Pool Heat Pump and the current DE filter and pump with a Hayward sand filter and super pump. I really want to get water moving this weekend but its just so foreign to me.

Yes, there is a second pipe behind the one on the right.

I have been reading that they are not good.

Thanks, so I have a hook-up, somewhere at the pool, to attach a vacuum.

****poorly worded, I was referring to the three pipes that go to the pump, at the beginning of the system

The 3 inputs are 2skimmers and a main drain.
Im not sure what the three outputs are. I haven't seen the pool on. The first pool guy said the pump was bad.

He did take off 5 of the 6 rubber plugs from around the pool. Im assuming the are return ports for water? If so I have 6 of them.

No. see pressure cleaners here:
