Hi all, I swear I have read as much as I can on the topic leading up to closing day and am trying my best on day 1 of owning this new house. Would love some perspective from you all.
My first water test indicated high PH (8.2), low chlorine (maaaaaaybe .5?), and salt levels of 2800ppm. The Aqualink says it's generating chlorine at 90%. There are maybe a few little spots of algae in the pool, but the water is very clear.
Pool inspection prior to purchase indicated everything was fine, though the inspector said the Salt cell was nearing the end of its useful life. I have them coming out next week to replace the Salt cell. In the meantime...what should I do?
I know Charlotte just got a ton of rain...is that my problem and I should just wait it out.
