New Hot Tub Owner

I've been a TFP devotee for many many years, first with an above ground and now with an inground pool.

I just a few days ago got and installed a hot tub, which comes with an ozone maker.

I've been adding chlorine but my tests continue to show zero level of chlorine.

So I started reading about the ozone maker.

I read that the ozone can destroy the chlorine.

If this is true, how do I monitor the degree of sanitation (sanitariness?) of the water?

PH is 7.6
TA is 80

I keep adding more chlorine and the test shows 0.

I know the test is working because the pool shows a reading and a drop of bleach on a test strip shows strong.

I keep thinking it's the ozonator, but I don't know what to do. How do I know if the water is sanitary?
