Help!! New home/pool owner

Need help starting opening my pool/attached spa and starting the filtration system (priming pump) for first time

So I have to prime the several times? And turn the valves from main drain, skimmer, spa? In that order?

Anyone from NJ wants to come over and help?!? Lol

In-ground pool pumps should be self priming. But you can help the pump by pouring water into the pump basket, then close the pump lid, and start the pump.

No particular order to turning the valves before you start the pump. It depends on your plumbing setup.

Be sure there is water in the pump basket. I will only fill to the inlet port. Be sure the lid O ring is lightly lubricated. Turn on pump and it will finish priming if all else is good.
