Hi,

I am getting a new stone coping and was wondering how I manage the cap or cover of the skimmer since the stone will make it higher by a couple inches.

I was told to add a collar but it looks like collars are installed in the middle of the skimmer, and I cannot pull mine apart. I also heard I could just buy another cover and silicone it on. If someone could point me to something on Amazon to buy that would help.

note: my skimmer is an old superskimmer and I am told parts are not made for it anymore.

thanks in advance

Could the masons installing the coping create a cap with beveled edges for a cover? Would need to put holes in the cap so you can get a hold of it to pull it off.

My contractor is asking me to talk to my pool store for solution options. We are still in full lockdown in my city, so can’t get out and about. Hoping there are some hacks or options.

I was told over the phone that I should use a bucket, because it fits the hole and can be used as a diy collar. Not sure that will work with a square lid though.

Can I silicone this into my existing cover and get a new round lid?
