Outside of the apparent whirley gigs, how badly will those roots hunt down the plumbing? Photos of roots and self made plan of what we like.

I’m in the same situation. From what I have read anything inside the drip line of the tree is at risk. If you cut the roots cut them straight with a saw and don’t cut too many. If you are worried about your piping you can line the trench with a root barrier
