New cell - went from 20k cell to 40k

I don’t understand how our previous pump settings (that we’ve never changed in 6 years) now have to be changed ????

Why does the RPMS have to be that high? Do you have water features you need to run. I run my IC-40 at 1150rpms for 2 1/2 hrs which is enough to satisfy the cell flow switch. Then i have another schedule for 1200 for skimming the surface for 2 hrs. The pump speeds are not mandated by what the pool guy said. Depends on each pool and what you want to do with it. Its not set in stone and if you were thinking its because of water turnover, that is also a myth.

Is the SWCG set at 100% as recommended earlier?

It has been set to 100% since my last post.
