It could be there is nothing else for them to add yet. What I do is if I see an thread is being worked on and the work is solid I move on to the next one until there is new questions or activity on a thread.

I don't think you need to worry about pool getting too hot.

I live in Brentwood and am probably around 10 degrees cooler than you are.

In summer, if I don't heat, and pool is not covered, water is a little cold, maybe mid 70's.
If I cover, then water is in 80s or maybe even low 90's. So covering would likely make it too hot, but I'd guess that uncovered water should be just about right.
Then you could consider covering in spring or fall to extend swimming season if you want.
