I was a very responsible parent today. I pulled my kids out of school halfway through the day so they could come home and have a little pool party. I almost felt guilty but we had too much fun.

Today is is the first day we can start using the robot. Dumped her in the pool for its maiden voyage.
I have been lacking in updates due to being extremely busy at work. No pun intended but after drowning in work the last few weeks I feel like I can breathe again. I had to steal some people from BigWill's yard for a day and solar was finally started today and should finish tomorrow. I'm hoping by Friday the punch list will be completed. Although I haven't been around much, my kids seem to love the pool.
Kim, my kids named the robot the other day. I came home and they kept talking about Wally. I had no idea who they were talking about and was starting to get worried until a reference was made to the movie. Then it dawned on me that Wall-E was the pool robot. Guess I should have been home more often.
But, this is my happy place even if it looks like this most of the time I see it.

Beautiful - day and night! I love seeing a pool with toys and stuff all around! That means it's a fun pool!!!
All of the punch list has been completed except for one sensor that needs to be installed. Ceiling fans were finally installed on the patio cover and pavers that cracked were replaced. I guess it's time to close my build thread and I'm actually kinda sad about that. It has been an exciting and fun journey. Thank you again to everyone that helped and commented. It truly made our pool exceptional. I really can't think of too many things I would have done different except a couple more umbrella sleeves and we already have 10.

You will be so glad you have this "journal" of your build. It will be fun to back and reread the story of your pool! It was a fun one to work on and help with. It turned out great!

I am happy to report that the 4th of July celebration went very well. Except for a firework mishap that may have resulted in hair loss it was a great time. I'm sure the hair on the back of my legs will return in time.
