Tomorrow is turf day. I'm sure with the Vegas breezes and the layer of gravel and sand that will be put down, a fair amount will end up in the pool. That and the 40 mph ocean breezes that are forecasted for Saturday, so I will be headed in the morning to pick up a vacuum head with brushes. A couple pictures from today,,,,

I think every pool should have a manual vacuum for those times a spot clean is needed.

Turf was installed today! It's so nice not having bare dirt that is tracked all over the house. Start up guy said two more days until he gives the green light to get in the pool. Unfortunately the weather forecast for the next few days is not very favorable. High on Sunday is supposed to be in the 60's. don't the pool gods know this is Vegas? Temperatures in the 60's? What?

The only major thing left is the BBQ island. Appliances are supposed to be fitted tomorrow. It should be wrapped in the same stone as the bond beam wall sometime this week. So close to being done!

I really can figure out why the calcium hardness is so low. We have very hard water here but after this many tests I'm convinced that's the correct result. I will increase calcium today. My plan is to bring it up to 300 and then test for a couple days and add from there if I need to. I also plan to start adding CYA today also.
