Actually, the snake people said it was an Eastern hognose. Copperheads have "hershey kisses" or "hourglasses" for markings; I remember it as HKHK: Hershey kisses hourglass kill. But Honestly I would just yell for dh, and if I thought my kids were at risk it might just be KKKK: kill kill kill kill. Pool is looking great.

Wow, Tommy! Beautiful pool - your materials selections are gorgeous! I don't think you can go wrong with any of the plaster colors you're considering. And the spa spillway is going to be phenomenal! Not to mention the rock waterfall at the other end.

Now really, snakes???? Those came up last year and nearly freaked me out. I'm a little better about it this summer, but not much. Moderators::::: There should be snake picture warnings for these threads! You don't want to be responsible for an old lady having a heart attack!!!! Just kidding. But I will be VERY careful when I click on this thread! Lol!!!!

I can't wait to see your pool with the plaster!!!!

That is really pretty though it does look very dark which makes me a little nervous. I like the gorgeous vivid colors of the deep blue sea that Spool achieved.

Can you see it achieving that color or so you think that it's meant to be the more black bottom look? I can't wait to see what your pool looks like!!

That pic from spools pool looks amazing. But I was worried about erring on the darker side....and wanted to keep mine to standard blue...maybe a little darker than standard blue. But not as dark as deep blue sea...

It is dark for sure. I would say they call it a black bottom, but having all the other colors lightens it up some, but it is still dark in the shade. Not nearly as dark as the true black bottom pools though.

We want the natural lagoon feel, so while any of them I think will look good with our selections, picking the right one to get the feel correct is the struggle.

I snapped these on the coping when it was overcast yesterday. Really stuck on the color. The pics rotated funny, but Deep Sea is at the top, the. Eclipse, then indigo blue. I wonder what it would do to eclipse if we changed the green glass to red glass?

Yeah, I'm thinking about asking for the Indigo Blue plaster base color and the stones from the Deep Sea Blue. I wonder if that would help lighten the darker color it achieves in the shade while keeping those vivid colors brought out in the sun. I'm just afraid that no gray in the base will make the color less vivid. Sigh. Such problems we have. [emoji5]

I'm really paranoid about playing with the predetermined colors because of it looks bad, then it's my fault

That's the big dilemma. A few on here have modified though and I haven't heard of anyone unhappy. I wonder if at that point you don't even care about the exact color anymore and just want to be in the water which we'll decide we like in any case. This has easily been the hardest decision by far!!

So it's been an extremely slow 3 weeks culminating in the city denying the permit for our beam removal. That said, they were there today to do the drainage and they tied all the gutters into it as far as I can tell from the video. They're supposed to be there to spray the outline for the deck today and start digging it tomorrow.
