Great looking pool. It appears you will need quite a bit of fill. Are you planning on some existing soil or bringing in rock?
They have delivered what I reckon is a quarter truck load of soil and begin paver construction on Friday. I ordered my test kit from TF today.
Picture is a little deceiving.....I would have guessed at least one truckload.

The paver guys were here today and moved some soil around and played with the pavers we’ve got a paver crew and a fence crew scheduled for tomorrow. Here’s hoping the teams can play together 
LOL Hopefully their Kindergarten teacher was able to make "Plays well with others" on their report card!

I'm always jealous of FL builds with pavers. You guys just move the native sand around and basically compact and lay pavers. By me there would be several dump trucks taking away dirt and several bringing in base gravel then concrete sand. Looks good so far liking the shape and layout internally
Water day is finally here! Still some issues to sort with pavers, but a major milestone.
The fire pit area will get back filled with sea shell. We're working out how we will landscape everything else, but it will be a mix of sea grape, foxtail palm, fishtail palm, Areca palm and some other tropicals with color.
OH happy WATER day!!! Don't stop the flow of water for any reason until the water hits the middle of the waterline tile.

Pool company is coming to open the pool tomorrow. Along with four gallons of muriatic acid, these are the chemicals they’ve provided. Tri-chlor pucks, CYA, cal-hypo and some liquid something or other. I have to let them manage the start up to be covered by warranty. How bad is that scale control liquid? No indication of what it is.

The scale control is okay so no worries. Most use it as a "Just in case" thing.

We are super chuffed to get started, even if it's going to be too cold to get in. I dipped my feet in it last night and if it had been sanitary, I'd have gotten in. Water's about 82 F. Cool front moving in tomorrow, at least I can burn some logs!

You'll want to increase the FC right away. 0.5 is way too low. Liquid chlorine (aka regular bleach) is best. See the FC/CYA Levels and use the non-salt chart for now, Find your CYA and you'll see what your FC should be. Do that right away to avoid algae. Other numbers are fine for now. Let the pool do its thing for a few days and monitor them, but always stay on top of that FC to not let it dip below the minimum based on your CYA.
