New Build - DFW

It is time for you to create your signature with details of your pool and equipment so we can answer your questions.

I have lost track of what automation system you have and do know if it can automatically turn an actuator for the heater bypass.
I think I got it thanks for the steps.

Nice! Amazing how all of a sudden it looks like a pool! Won't be long and you'll need to start testing. Here's a checklist for you::
  • If you don't have your test kit now would be a great time to order it. Even with The Attendant you're going to want to be able to test just to verify it's getting good readings. I would start with the TF 100 and not go for the larger kit with extra reagents since you may eventually be able to rely on The Attendant for interim readings as you gain confidence in it's reliability/accuracy.
  • What features do you have for The Attendant? You'll need some calibration fluids for your probes.
  • Get a salt test kit Taylor K- 1766. The readings from swg cells are notoriously inaccurate especially when you need them as the cell ages.
  • Now would be a good time to get a couple gallons of acid, some granular or liquid CYA, and some liquid chlorine. You won't be able to add salt for 30 days.
  • Right now is a great time to learn how to test. Check your fill water and start using Pool Math. It's way better to have testing and Pool Math features down before you need results.

I hope this is helpful and congrats on your new pool!

Chris

Thank you all for all your help and guidance truly appreciate it. Pool was filled and we got in on Sunday, the kids absolutely loved it. I can see how this investment would create some great memories for the family. IMG_5981.png
