Very nice design...looking forward to seeing the end result.

Re: New construction, Spring TX by PB.

Thanks. Waiting on HOA approval and we should start in about 2 weeks. Still not sure if it will be a sports pool or not but definitely leaning that way. The back wall of the pool the becomes a great jumping "rock" and we can use the volleyball net holders for umbrellas too

Re: New construction, Spring TX by PB.

We hope to start next week. I'm still not sure if it will be a sports pool or not. I've ordered the fire magic bowls and think we will go with 3 lights in the pool one in the spa and one under the "bridge" leading to the spa.

Pool outline is ready and finishes picked out. The decking will be travertine pavers and the covers patio will be either travertine tile or the blue printed tile below.

We still have to decide between quartz or a pebble sheen for the plaster.

LOVE it! I hope you do the blue printed tile.......those are so pretty!

With the glass tile play around with different mortar as the color of that really influences the overall color of the tile-white, off white, light gray, medium gray. Make sure to look at in the area you will be using it. Also think about the grout color as well.

Bye-bye pretty grass!

It is tomorrow!!! LOL I hope you will be able to be there as they may have some questions or ideas to run by you. Better YOU make the decision than they guess what you might mean or like.

Yes we've made a few slight modifications. So far in the spa we added 2 18" seats next to the step for the kids to sit on and made the stairs smaller to give more play area off the sun shelf.

I also wanted to make sure the 4' sections where how I calculated them out. Looks like we"ll have the 4'-6' 6"-4' pool. Gunite crew is 90% done

Re: Under construction, Spring TX by PB.

Well look at that! I love it! You have a pool! Have you started bonding with your pool yet? aka watering the guinte to help slow down the curing.

Well it is time to give you your own set of links! It is a LOT of info so take it slow. It will all start to make sense when you start using it.

Make sure to ask any and all questions you might have no matter how small! We have all been where you are at one point.

I would like for you to ask your PB what test kit he will be giving you. Let us know which one so we can fill in any holes it might have.
