These guys are doing a fantastic job. They are moving fast. Saturday they will install panels and pour concrete around panels on Tuesday after Mondays inspection.
Change of plans... they are installing panels, plumbing, filter, pump and heater tomorrow instead. Then Monday there will be an inspection on plumbing and collar lock? Then Tuesday they will pour concrete around outside of panels. More pics from earlier today.
good soil your lucky down there in SNJ, dont see that up here. the kit is easy as pie I thought the same thing when I looked at it. You dont have to be a scientist you watch it in the beginning and then it kinds works itself out. SWG makes it real easy to do nothing, if your using chlorine its gonna be some watching to get it going and use the right amounts
Really wish I went with SWG. But others who don’t have it here on the forum make it seem easy. Hope that’s the case for me also.
oh happy day!!!Came me home from work to this! This is only the second day. Monday the inspector will do his thing then Tuesday concrete will be poured outside of pannels and pool floor bottom will be completed. Then Thursday the liner will be installed. I’m amazed at how fast this is all transforming.
I’ve had it for like 2 months already LOL!!! Along with my S200 pool robot.
WHAT??? Better order your test kit NOW!! You will have water before you blink!

SWEET! Now grab a couple of cups of your fill water. Run a full set of tests (except cya as that has to be added). Post the results here so I can make you a shopping list.

Well we failed our first plumbing inspection due to heavy rain amounts. Inspector stated he couldn’t see the dual drains because they were under water. PB came and dropped a pump in to aid in pumping the water out and help keep bottom under some water control. Apparently they are still coming out tomorrow and will do their collar lock and pool bottom and leaving bottom drain open for inspection on Wednesday. Not sure if this will work as more rain is predicted for tomorrow. The deep end area is mushy and my foot sinks in to my ankles in areas. I went in to reset pump to a lower area to get most out. Thoughts much appreciated.

WOW that's some very speedy progress. Awesome! I'm a full month after dig and still no equipment. Sheesh
Let's do it fellas! We've got a few more pools to finish (including mine) - maybe next spring?? Something to look forward to and plan over winter?

Thanks! I’m for it definitely. Was hoping to have mine done early September, will see after tomorrow what PB may say to the ground.
The only thing to do right now is keep the pump going and hope for some sun to dry that mess up
Looks great so far. With all the rain we've gotten u wanna wait on the collar and the floor. Soft ground isn't good for either job

I didn't put one in until my 4th season due to money (this year). You need to test the water regularly so adding liquid isn't a big deal. For me it was having to lug it home from the store that I didn't like. Now that I have the swcg I could go back to liquid easily. I know most couldn't live w/o it but I'm writing to let you know I'd be fine either way. You'll get to a point where you know how much you need to add weekly. I was adding an average of 64 oz daily. So if I just eye balled it most days, dumped in half a jug of bleach and would test every other day. Once you know what you go through in a week you'll know what to keep on hand as a minimum. Looks great by the way! With the heater you'll be swimming through September no problem. I didn't close last year until the week of Halloween.
Thanks so so much for that. I’m hoping to have this down after a few weeks. Also looking to close pool near end of October. Last year I was sweating pulling my little one on the wagon while trick o treating. Seems to get colder later each year.

Progress today so far. They came today and poured concrete on the outside of panels. Also are re leveling ground and sloping for inside work. Drain will be exposed for tomorrow s inspection then they’ll close that up for liner install on Thursday if they get done with their scope of work today.
