New AGP large cove divot

Hi Everyone, I have a new oval AGP(overlap liner) that I installed about 3 weeks ago. We then went out of town and are now back. I went for the inaugural swim and took goggles so I could inspect a couple spots that look funny. There is one that I found where the foam cove looks funny, almost smashed and doesn't provide the clear support angle as all the rest. Directly below that area of cove, there is an area about the size of a foot right (divot). When I press that area, I don't feel anything supporting the liner underneath. I am not sure what is going on there, but I am a cautious person, and my gut tells me to fix this. In my head I have 2 options to fix. 1) Drain the water down to a couple inches, pull back the liner, fix the issue, refill with water. I would do this on a day with 90°, sunny and low wind. My concern with this option is the proximity of the area to the return and skimmer and getting everything lined back up on the refill. 2) Get a new liner and consider it an expensive learning experience.

Hopefully someone has some advice/experience here. TIA

I think i can see it - can u get a clearer pic without glare?
Have u checked for a leak? Is there sand under this pool?

I don't think there is a leak. Water level didn't drop a bit in the week and a half we were gone. I made a tiny mark to keep track. There is 3" of sand underneath with a foam cove on top of that. It is directly on the wall seam that has me so worried. I'll try and get a better pic later.

I ended up draining the pool overnight down to a couple inches. This morning, I took back a few section of the top rail, peeled back the liner enough to where I could get behind it. I also removed the return, but not the skimmer. What I found was some kind of big sand void under the foam cove, and the cove was not sitting flush it was angled a lot. I put some wet sand back in place, patted it down the best I could in that tight space, re seated the foam cove. Then immediately reset the liner in that area and started refilling and spraying down the exposed liner to keep it wet. So far everything looks and feels much better.
