I had absolutely no luck finding a 115 V two speed pump that would not be more powerful than my current pump.
I ended up getting the Hayward 0.75 HP Super Pump to replace my Hayward 1.0 HP Super Pump.
It is working great. In years past, I always had air bubbles that I could see and hear coming into the pump basket and air was always being shot into the pool.
I looked everywhere for the source of the suction side leak, changed all my plumbing, nothing worked. Now, absolutely no air is being brought in.
I guess my old pump was just oversized.
