So I have had some issues with my SWG this season. Had been bullet proof until this season. I replaced the following:
-Power board- it fried and I replaced it completely. That fixed it and it started working again until....the cell went.
-Changed the cell and cord. I bought an OEM cell and manifold from authorized vendor was a good deal.
I did this to change and have a new flow sensor and back flow preventer valve.
The red check system light came on with stating 2400 PPM and to add salt. I know/knew this is inaccurate and went into the maintenance menu to reset cell hours and I also went into the salt setting that showed 2400 PPM and set this to 3000.

My question is...Is this normal to have to set the salt level to the tested value?

TIA

I have been using aqua check salt strips and Taylor K-1766. They were both very close to 3000 PPM. And that's what the old sensor showed. When I changed the sensor it was 2400. The old sensor was was not malfunctioning, I just changed it when I changed the manifold. I originally put the new cell in the old system until I had time to change it out. I had to redo some of the piping.
