Need help with levels

I have had my pool up for about 2 weeks. What do you think of my levels. Also why on the app does it recommend up 10 free chlorine when all other info says free chlorine 1-4. These are my current levels fc 5.8

How are you chlorinating your pool?

Your CYA is 90. If the dot disappears between 90 and 80 we round up and call it 90.

We follow the FC/CYA Levels. For CYA 90 your FC target is 10-12.

I suggest you read ABCs of Pool Water Chemistry.

which test kit are you using? Can you give us:

Salt level

Taylor 2006. No salt. Liquid chlorine.

You went a bit too much with CYA. 40 is a better level that would give you a FC target of 5-7.
