It's your pool, you can do what you wantI managed to get the FC level to 23 when I last tested.
after that keep adding the necessary bleach (26oz) every 2 hours.
this morning I tested with the last 871 I have, it is showing FC 13.
i will add another 2 gallons to bring it up to shock levels.
But not sure how much chlorine I need to add?
can I just maintain the FC (7) needed by adding Bleach daily as my water is very clear?
i plan to close the pool end of Aug anyway.
will do a refill when I open the pool next Spring.
thanks
You are correct, below shock level is safe to swim.So as long as I am in the FC level based on my CYA it is safe to swim.
Also the pump has been running for over 2 days non stop.
At some point I need yo to give it a break
Thx
It is most likely your testing that is fluctuating. Unless you are using a SWG in addition to manual doses, FC levels do not rise on their own, they lower as the chlorine is consumed.Folks,
i really need your guidance and help.
I did another test just now and the FC is 35 and CC is still 0.2
How can FC fluctuate this much?
is anything else going on?
We we stopped adding any chemical for almost 20 hours now.
please advise
