Need help tfp folks remodel tile

All-

We got a new pool after a tough battle with HOA 3years ago. We made change after change, took out a sunken kitchen days before starting project add all tile spa and benches. We struggled with efflorescence issues; we took a lot of pictures but never figured it out. Our pool negative edge wasn't waterproofed correctly, and our since of spa wasn't either. Waterproof guy did our old plan before all tile spa and negative edge.

I would say if it wasn't for you people I never would have took all the pictures and thank you. I would also say if I took care of my own pool I would have known sooner. Now, my family knows what happened. We took a stance with the builder to supply the tile and be part of the solution. We noted several things he did during the build.

This time, we are using picture and video and drone 3D rendering as they redo the All Tile Spa and rear weir wall. WOW. We will use all epoxy grout, thanks to everyone here. I will see what I can do to share 3D Mapping files so pool builders and customer can see the benefit. Im doing my FAA107 and would love this for starting my portfolio.

Not yet but I’m going to be optimistic at this point; there is warranty stuff but I want to switch other stuff to match.

Yeah tfp folks note that this tool allows you to measure to the centimeter. It does length measurements and also volume measurements.

Anyone have time to play detective. We took off the tiles on the spa. This was jackhammered on build to lower the spa height. I noticed a wet spot streaking down and thinset is cracked where the grout is cracked see video. Were trying to determine if the spa waterline is micro fractured from jackhammer which is tough because water proofer wasn't used.

Thanks will keep updating pictures. I think it needs to be ground to gunite to tell. I marked in red where I am worried possible joint issue with pipe in the corner.

I think it is going to be a challenge to determine when you have found all the problems and fixed all the leaks. The first leak found may not be the only leak. Without being able to pressurize the lines or run the pump and water you are really rolling the dice to retile it all before you can test it.

I think you just have to keep on demo'ing things until you expose the plumbing and see what has happened.

Are the water lines the top loop or the bottom loop?

If they can be they should. I thought with the water/air interfaces in the spa jets it would be impossible to plug all the outlets in the spa water loop and pressurize it. But then you pros have tricks I don't know.

I can repressurize and stick in plugs. I can pressurize with air or water.

Yeah I have all the plugs from anderson leak detection

I did this before we removed tile. Thinset is 1.5 inches in some places. Gunite came off easy where cracked here see the measurement they tried to hide it by extra thinset
