Came home yesterday to storm damaged area only to find pool pump not running when it should have been. Lights were flashing on the SWG but pump was idle. Started Screenlogic on my desktop and told the pump to run. Looked like it started for a few seconds then Screenlogic threw up a message "connecting to pool controller please wait..." Went to the pool and pump was not running but SWG had lights flashing. Do I have a dead motor?

Did a search on "connecting to pool controller please wait" and found a lengthy link explaining how to troubleshoot including disconnecting Screenlogic interface at the pool and disconnecting SWG. Display on top of motor should show "Display..." am not RPM data. Before disconnecting it displayed RPM data. This is with panel in Auto. After removing the two items it showed display. I reconnected the Screenlogic interface and at least right now it still reads Display and I no longer have "connecting to pool controller please wait" on the Screenlogic screen. I believe this proves that the SWG is bad. Came someone with knowledge of this confirm my conclusion please?
