Haven’t been here in years but I’m in need of some guidance. Pool used to be a beautiful blue color, this started happening a few months ago looks like black stains any suggestions please?

After years of maintaining it myself I started allowing a local pool service company maintain it and that’s when this started happening. Feels like they’re giving me the run around saying it’s something with the plaster. But I’m thinking iron or copper… I’ll have to ask them what chemicals they’re using. Just curious if there’s any solutions to the iron or copper stains thanks
