After the big winter storm here in Texas last week I found one problem with my in ground pool. The actuator shaft snapped off and I’m trying to find the correct replacement part. The actuator is a Jandy JVA2440 but I’m only finding parts for JVA2444. I know I need a new diverter kit but I can only find them for the 2444 model. Anyone know if a 2444 replacement kit will work the 2440 model?

There is only one size diverter that works in both actuators. The diverter kit replaces the shaft that broke.
Note that the valve and actuator are two separate parts.
The valve is the part that is broken.
Check the body of the valve carefully to make sure that it’s not cracked.
