Howdy! I’m in Texas and we have a new build so I’m still learning everything. We have been in a drought with zero rain so we’ve never had to drain water from the pool. However, heavy storms began yesterday and are forecast to continue today and tomorrow. I’ve also been dealing with slightly elevated CYA, so would like to drain some water to bring that down a bit as well.

My pool water is nearly up to the coping right now. I’m attaching pics of my equipment and my current pool water level— by looking at these, can anyone explain to me how I drain a few inches of water out? Thank you!
