Need advice on what adapter to get for a second pump that I bought to vacum the pool at startup

My main pump does not vacuum too well. I bought a second pump cheap to use to vacuum the pool floor only on startup. I got the following pump

Hayward maxflow xl. (Hayward MaxFlo XL Single Speed In-Ground Swimming Pool Pump - Choose HP Size | eBay)

I ordered the following part (Amazon.com: Swimline 1.25/1.5 Hose Adaptor for 0.5/1.0/1.5/2.0 hp Pumps: Sports & Outdoors) from Amazon to attach the vacuum hose but it does not fit.

The Hayward pump seems to have a 2" MPT so I'm looking for a 2" MPT to a pool vacuum hose or some other way to make that happen. Any suggestions?
