Need a new spa air blower

I currently have a Polaris 1-460-02 air blower. It is what was here when we moved in. It was always pretty loud, and noticed lately it wasn’t blowing air through all the jets. Well, I think it gave up the ghost today, and is not sounding too good, and is barely putting out any air. So what is a solid replacement? I would like something quiet, but not something that will break the bank. Would like to stay around $200 if possible.

Spa air blowers are a commodity. They all do the same thing - blow air.

So the blower I had is a 1 HP, is it ok to step up to a 1.5HP, or should I stay at 1 HP?

Stay at 1 HP. An overpowered air blower can overtemp and shut off or blow water right out of the spa.
