Need a new “robot” have some questions

Hi all. My older dolphin dx 4 finally quit on me and I’m the market for new robot.

I’m not opposed to getting another dolphin but I’d rather not have one with a bag on the bottom and those funny clips that are tough to get in an out. Plus the bag is a pain to clean

Do the robots with cartridges that come out of the top clean the pool just as good? Is there a better design than using a bag that would be easier to clean out?

I have a gunite pool with steps and no ladder. I don’t need an intricate robot just one that cleans well.

Any recommendations would be awesome. Thanks.

Simple Maytronics robot or an Evo should suffice.
