We just completed our new pool build in the Houston area. We have some natural stone around the pool. We wanted a more gray-ish color stone so we selected this stone. However, it seems a couple of the stones have some iron or something causing stains and then even some pitting and flaking.
Is there anything I can do about this or help minimize the deterioration? Should I try asking my PB to remove this stone and replace it with one of the several remaining stones left on site?
