In The Industry
Hi Everyone, Im from Oudsthoorn, South Africa. The company that I am employed at (Paint manufacturer and retailer for 13 years) recently merged with another company in Joburg that has been in the pool industry for a long time. I do get very valuable information from them but sometimes I feel as if they don't even know the answer and thumb suck, hence the reason I am here. I recently found a very interesting post here and decided to get a second opinion.

I work for a company that does pools and I am here to learn and better advise my clients, as for me. Does a shower count as a pool???

First and foremost, Welcome !!!

This can be tricky as commercial pools generally have their own rules. Here in the states those rules haven't been updated since thr 80s and I imagine yours are behind the times as well. You'll have to follow them even when they've been proven to not be the best practices.

But we can teach you how it should be so you can apply as much of it as you can, while knowing how/why the commercial way is failing before it gets out of control.

I guess if it was powerful enough without enough drainage. :ROFLMAO: other than that it would be a fresh, constant source of 'fill water' that didn't collect and need to be treated.
