My neighbors pool

Hello everyone my neighbors husband passed away a few months ago . I have started to maintain the property getting yard and trees in shape. They have a oval above ground pool pump has not ran in months pool is black and really low.

I have filled it back up with water over jets and restored power to pump and added chlorine and shock to last Sunday when I was tasked with the pool. I was told it was a salt pool. I will check progress after work today.

Do they use the pool at all?? It might make more sense to just take down.. Assuming they wanted to do that..
