Hi all,

I'm working on a plaster IGP that has mud caked to the bottom of the pool after a new paver deck was installed. I've been trying to dislodge it with a small steel brush with little success (although there has been some improvement. Can anyone recommend a tool that I could use?

You sure it is just mud? Dirt? They use polymeric sand in the joints?

How thick is the mud? Is it solid? You try chipping into it with a flat screwdriver blade?

That might be the way to go Allen.. it's definitely mud. I actually got a lot out with my porta vac but what's left is down the deep end. Maybe I can tape the screwdriver to the pole. I will have pictures tomorrow.
