Buying a 24’ round hard side pool (fb marketplace find). I am new to all of this so talk like I’m a kindergartener 😬.
Liner: The seller says was bought new last year. Will I be able to use it again or would I need a new one? Is there any certain way I should handle it when disassembling and hauling it?
Site preparation: I’m hiring someone to level the site. What are the next steps or “layers” to get it ready to reassemble the pool on top?
Thanks!

Bring a few zip lock bags, maybe the gallon size and put any small part and screws into them. If anything is different lable what it is and as ajw22 said take photos. Be aware there may be small and slightly larger or smaller screws that need to be put in the proper place.

Will you be able to re-use the liner? Maybe, but in reality the answer is no.

If the pool still has water in it. If you are able to empty that pool quickly (2-3 hours). If you are able to get that liner out without damaging it. If you are able to store that liner in a large, sealed tote, with water in it, not overly compressed, in a cool place. If you are able to move and reassemble the pool quicky (say by the end of the next day). If you get that liner in there post haste, it MIGHT have a chance of not ripping and actually fitting.

So buy a new liner.

What is the prep person prepping? Is it somebody who knows about pools, or is it just some random landscaper dude. The site needs to be level, and undisturbed ground (in other words no filling in, even with compacting, it needs to be dug down only). The legs of the pool need to go on patio blocks. So after the ground is prepped and level, you need to lay out where the legs will be, and then dig a hole at that location so that you can place a patio block there level with the soil. The pool needs 2-3 of sand in it as a base. It is a lot easier to dump a pile of sand in the middle BEFORE you start putting the pool up.

Bottom rails and plates come next, in a big circle (assuming this is a round pool) put them together the same way you took them apart with the same hardware. Measure, Measure, Measure to make sure it is round (or oval). The wall comes next. Get 3 people for the wall. It is unwieldy and can cut you good (so wear gloves). Don't try it in the wind.
