Motor Replacement - SF Question

Folks,
Can you help me out on this. Motor has gone and I'm not seeing a direct replacement. Attached is the motor label from my motor and also a screen shot of a potential replacement. I'm noting Ampere and SF differences. Are these enough to matter? Also not reading great things about AO Smith motors. Any suggested alternatives?

Thanks

The new motor has less power. So, it won't work if the pump needs the full total hp of 2.6 hp.

What is the part number and date from the barcode sticker on the front of the pump?

Your old motor is only about 4 years old. What's wrong with it?

Do you really need that much hp and flow?

The motor has already been replaced once. Is the pump the original pump?

What state are you in?

I would recommend going to a new pump over rebuilding the current pump.

I would suggest the Intelliflo VSF or the Intelliflo XF VSF.

So..on the pump housing? The original was:
Challenger Pac-Fab
1 - HP
35-5460
CF11 N1-1A
1 -14-G99
34-3233

The original motor that lasted 15 years was:

Magnatek
P/N 10-186016-02
HP - 2.0
RPM 3450 Amps: 11.5 Volts 230
Y56Y

Thanks

Yes, 4 years and it was grinding and squealing away. It's been powered off for 3 weeks. Came to power up and humming noise like run cap gone. Tried a known good run cap same thing, humming noise. Verified that timer switch supplying both phases. Pulled motor, shaft turns ok but for all I know bearings may be gne.

The CFII-NI-1A originally came as a 1.25 total hp pump. So, the Magnatek motor was not the original motor.

The pump is almost 22 years old. The current motor is at least the third motor.

I would not rebuild this pump.

I would go with a new Intelliflo XF VSF or IntelliFlo VSF pump.

The cost to operate the variable speed pump will be much lower than the single speed pump.

The Intelliflo has the ability to generate more flow than your current pump if you want the flow for the spa.
