motor died during SLAMing

You can't really SLAM as much without a pump, but you can keep your FC elevated and kill the algae. Just dose to SLAM level and brush the pool, get the water moving as much as you can. You will at least keep the algae dying while you wait for the new pump and won't go backwards, even if you aren't moving as quickly forward as you would like.

Sorry that this happened, but keep on keeping on. You will get this!

I had a similar problem last year -- pump died from a nearby lightning strike a few days before hosting a birthday party for one of my kids. $140 for a new pump motor (from Amazon) and a bit of my time and I was back in business. For the time I was without the pump, I just brushed the walls and bottom each evening for a few minutes to mix up the chlorine. Didn't have any issues.

Clearing up a green pool without proper filtration and circulation is going to be difficult. With a functioning pump and the pool working a it should, it's a simple matter to clear up your pool.

If the pump doesn't work, I'd suggest calling a pool professional and addressing that issue ASAP.
