Mesh Screen at Wall Fitting

The little mesh screen/filter at the wall fitting for my pool cleaner keeps getting clogged with debris on a daily basis. I just took apart and cleaned my DE filter, and this was occuring before and after. Any ideas?

Did you carefully examine the grid for tears when you had your DE filter apart for cleaning?

Check that the Internal Air Bleed Assembly is intact and properly positioned.
