Maytronics Dolphin Control Panel Cover Needed

We are having a pool installed. The instruction for my pool robot say the digital controller is water resistant, Not waterproof.

I assumed (I KNOW- I KNOW) it was waterproof and planned on mounting it on the fence above an electric outlet we have installed. I have plenty of room on the deck and wanted to avoid putting it up everytime.
I was thinking something along the lines of a some type of box or cover similar to what is used on outdoor electric receptacles???

SO any advise on using some type of cover is greatly appreciated.

What model robot and control box are we discussing?

Maytronics Active 20 Dolphin, if that makes a difference
I think it does since many folks have them.

I suggest you edit your first post subject line to “Maytronics Dolphin Control Box Cover Needed?” To get the attention of other Dolphin owners.

I have a Dolphin, but I remove it after it runs its cycle. If there's a chance of rain, I won't use it. Could you put the power supply under your deck and run it from there if you waterproof the underside of your deck?

bjxds,
It has been a few days since last response, but is you are still looking for solutions I saw on this web site someone took a plastic case made a whole in the side
for the cords to pass through as a protection. This case could then be mounted to the fence. With the unit being water resistant any type of box to keep rain or pressurized water (think getting sprayed by hose) would protect it and keep it out of sun.
