I’ve noticed that when I wash the filter in the dolphin I get this milky water and I’ve noticed the same thing with the cartridge filters as well. Does anyone know what this is? My water is crystal clear and not cloudy at all.

Jason,

Sounds to me like your main filter and your Dolphin filter are working just like they should...

Pools collect dust, pollen, bird 'stuff', bugs, etc.. Even rain, which you would think would be pure water, can carry massive amounts of dirt into your pool.

Just because the water is visually clear, does not mean there is nothing in the water..

Thanks,

Jim R.

Alright so I stumbled on your site a while back and I have been doing a ton of reading and learning about my pool. I ordered the tf-pro salt with slam test, borates test strips, and the C-600 PH + salt meter. I got my test kit this past Monday (Dec 2nd) and came up with these numbers:

FC: 33
PH: 8.1
TA: 120
CH: 675
CYA: 80
Salt: 2400
Temp: 68 degs f
CSI: 0.68
Borates: 0 (thankfully, we have some cats that like to drink from the pool)
^^^From your other thread....

A CH of 600+ would make me think it is calcium precipitation.

Hhmm I was wondering if that was the cause.

Another question,

I have noticed that on some posts I can click on the user name and their logs from the pool math app show up. How can I do that for mine?
