We bough a Serta last year and it’s mostly foam. It was heavenly in the store but in practice it’s terrible. There is no hard edge to keep the corner intact. When I sit on it to get on socks or tie my shoes I sink in.

also, for us married dudes, where her side is her side and our side is her side too, I awaken many times a night about to roll off the edge that collapsed.

Funny, that sounds like me. She will keep scooting over until I either fall out of the bed or throw a 3am temper tantrum about her being on my side of the bed.

We bought the Westin Heavenly Bed since we fell in love with it at Westin and W Hotels. I can tell you that what Pottery Barn sells is not what is in the hotels. It also had no support on the edges and is doesnt compare to the old Stearns and Foster bed in our guest room.

I'm too cheap to buy a new one, so I'll just continue with my temper tantrums.

I found comfort in the fact she used to leave me to the tag to cover up with.

We ended up buying a Serta 4" foam/pillowtop topper. Much better. I think the Tuft and Needle is too firm for side sleepers -- it's the original.
