An embarrassing question: After removing the 4 screws on the front panel, what does one next do to remove the panel?

Once you remove the four screws, you may have to wiggle loose from the bottom as the panel has a "lip
at the top that slips-up underneath at the top. So try prying away from the bottom first. Perhaps lift up slightly as well to get the bottom out.
