I don’t want to go with anything that would end up dated too quickly. Here is another I am considering. Will it date as much?

I’d get what you like. Who cares if it dates - that’s really subjective. If you will still like it it’s the next owner’s problem. No one will not buy a house because they aren’t crazy about the waterline tile because it screams 2018. Now if you are installing harvest gold appliances in 2018 that’s a different story. My $0.02.
