Managing high Calcium hardness

Ok, update. The pool is pretty clear and looks nice. There are some white particles floating that are only noticeable at night in front of the pool light. I read somewhere not to be worried about that. ?
FC 4.5
CC 0.5
pH 7.3
TA 60
CYA 30 (subjective)
CH 900
Salt 3370
Temp 89 deg
CSI -.09

I'm slightly worried about how much CYA I needed to add to get to 30. Embarrassingly, I lost count. 7 or 8 lbs. Again, I think the test is straightforward enough so I'm pretty confident about 30ppm. I updated my chemicals last month. Maybe my pool is 20,000 gallons after all. I'll continue to monitor it over the next few day to see if it changes.
I went a bit slower on the CH test and ended up blue at 900. Maybe I could have gone slower? That's a lot of drops. Regardless, I know I've got a CH issue and will probably research a water exchange in the next couple of months.
Right now I'm concentrating on going out of town for 2 weeks. I plan to increase my SWCG to 80% and watch FC closely over the next few days to get a handle on changes. I'll drop some acid in right before I leave to make sure it stays around 7.2.
Sound good?
Thank you so much for getting me to this point @Texas Splash.
