maintenance Dose of MM during SLAM or just wait?

Hello!

finished successful AA treatment about 10 days ago and added I bottle Metal Magic. Looked better than ever! But then...

2 days of Cloudy water and Too much FC loss led me to have to start SLAM today (even though AA treatment tutorials here said not to because staining could return).

Well, it’s returning. Can I add some more MM during the SLAM or should I just wait? Will be bummed if AA and MM so far was all a waste.

You should not have started the SLAM Process. It could have been the MM that caused the cloudy water.

Complete the SLAM Process and start over.

Hi @ajw22! I didn’t think it was the MM...pool was clear, stains gone after AA and MM and looked great for about a week.
I think Maybe FC got too low and that started cloudiness. Oh well. Will treat stains again after SLAM!
